We, a Swiss couple around 50 years old, spent in April 2016 thirteen days in Sikkim. A country where Buddhism is very present and alive. A country full of natural beauty and landmarks. Tseten Bhutia was our guide and we would highly recommend him for anyone who wants to take a guided tour in Sikkim. Tseten is an extremely warm and helpful person, he has a great knowledge of Sikkim. He is also very social, everywhere he knows locals. So we had a lot of contacts with the sikkimese people, and that gives us a very good insight into their life. Tseten is also close to nature, he showed us many plants and explained their use in everyday life. Our driver, Kumar Limboo, has always safely chauffeured . He was also very friendly and attentive. Thank you for this wonderful time.

Beyond expectations, Tseten-La was an amazing guide and host on my journey to Sikkim. His expert knowledge of the people, history, and the landscape of his country was matched by his kind demeanor and command of language. It is a rare gift on a journey to find such kindness in an expert guide who is highly educated and well spoken. Don't miss out on North Sikkim and its monasteries they are wonderful. I can't wait to return with my husband for more explorations with Mr. Bhutia and Yetilaya.

We used Yetilaya travels for our 5 days family trip to Sikkim in May 2016 and their service was exceptional. We self-booked the hotel and just provided our flights details for pickup from Bagdogra airport and places we wanted to see in Sikkim to Mr Tsheten Bhutia who came up with perfect travel plan covering every single aspect. Mr Bhutia pro-actively worked with us to collect softcopies of Id-proof and photographs to complete local pass/permit requirements. Also he was always available on cell/whatsup for any clarifications. We were given a warm Sikkimese welcome at bagdogra airport by our driver Mr Dev Kumar Limboo. The Vehicle (Inova) was spotless and Mr Limboo’s patience, easy going attitude and cool driving skills were simply remarkable. There was a forced change in our travel plan due collapse of bridge connecting Lachung to Gangtok and Mr Bhutia was very flexible to accommodate our requests. Mr Bhutia himself dropped us to Bagdorga airport on the last day in a brand new Inova giving us the most memorable ride. He has indispensable knowledge about the local area and its belief, good communication skills, positive attitude and command in many languages. Yetilaya travels is a truly trustworthy service and we strongly recommend them for a great relaxing travel experience

Having visited Sikkim on a family trip this April, I must say I had a great experience travelwise despite the unfortunate Nepal Earthquake that occurred at the same time. We had to change our plans last minute because of this natural calamity, but thanks to Mr. Tseten from Yetilaya that we managed to chalk out another travel plan within Sikkim in no time. Enjoyed our 4 day visit thoroughly. Its important to have an expert driving the car that you are traveling in when in such areas, and we felt we were in good hands. Our tour to Gangtok, Rumtek, Namchi, Natu La were great and I highly recommend the services of Yetilaya. I am planning another trip soon and will definitely be taking the services of Yetilaya again.

As a child I did trekking with Yetilaya in a remote Corner of West Sikkim. We visited a holy cave. Everything was so well organized and I remember still the accompanying horseman and trekking-team-members.
